Uran Chakan Pipeline Project.

Project description

The Uran Chakan Pipeline is running over a very steep section in Eastern India. The section to overcome had a length of approx. 1,100 m and is characterized by very rocky surface. To overcome the terrain, LCS installed two cable crane systems with a payload of  5 tons each. The cable cranes as transport and pipe-laying solution made it possible to lay the pipeline in an area with strong environmental restrictions, with an ROW of 8 m maximum.

Scope of work

Installation of a cable crane for the construction of a gas-pipeline.
