LCS takes over the technologies from Thyssenkrupp

Radial, parallel and luffing cable crane systems

In 2020 LCS took over the technologies for radial, parallel and luffing cable crane systems from the company Thyssenkrupp AG and markets, distributes and manufactures them exclusively worldwide.

The technology finds its origin in 1962 with the foundation of “PHB Fördertechnik” from the existing companies Pohlig, Heckel and Bleichert.

Thyssenkrupp has used this technology in many impressive projects worldwide, including the construction of the Three Gorges Dam and the Deriner Dam.

  • 1962
    Founding of the company “PHB Fördertechnik” out of the existing companies Pohlig, Heckel and Bleichert.

  • 1980
    Merging with the company “Weserhütte” and changing of the name to “PWH – PHB Weserhütte AG”.

  • 1988
    The company “Hoesch” and its subsidiary “O&K (Orenstein & Koppel)” are taken over by the “Friedrich Krupp AG”.

  • 1992
    PWH was integrated into the “Krupp Industrietechnik GmbH” (part of the Friedrich Krupp AG), which then acted as the “Krupp Fördertechnik GmbH”.

  • 1998
    Merging of the companies “Krupp Fördertechnik GmbH” and “Thyssen AG”.

  • 2002
    Changing of the name to “Thyssenkrupp AG”.

  • 2020
    LCS Cable Cranes GmbH takes over the technologies for radial, parallel and luffing cable crane systems from the company Thyssenkrupp AG and markets, distributes and manufactures them exclusively worldwide.
