Platform winch for shaft construction

Special winch for lifting and lowering of a working platform for a potash plant in Germany.

• For the rehabilitation of a main shaft of one of the most efficient potash plants in Germany LCS designed and manufactured a 110 kW electro-mechanical platform winch for lifting and lowering of a working platform. One of the main tasks of the winch is to ensure the restoration of the shaft without interrupting the main works in the saline. The winch is equipped with multiple disc brakes and disc brakes acting as safety brakes, which are hydraulically ventilated and spring-loaded. The winch complies with TAS 10, the guideline for shaft and platform winches.
