Working Safely, Standing Up for Each Other
On 13 May 2025, LCS Cable Cranes held its annual mandatory training in Personal Protective Equipment against Falls from Height (PPE-FA) – delivered by Firmalpin, Mountain School and Occupational Safety in the Montafon.
The morning was dedicated to the theoretical component: standards, areas of application, correct donning and doffing of equipment, and procedures in emergency situations. In the afternoon, the training moved into the production facility and to our test tower – where 13 employees put their knowledge into practice, including companion rescue.
The session concluded with a structured knowledge assessment.
Cable crane systems are built in challenging terrain – remote, exposed, often far from the nearest settlement. If something happens on such a jobsite, colleagues are the first responders. In locations like these, valuable time passes before rescue services can reach the scene. Knowing how to act in that moment can save lives.
Regular training like this is not an optional extra for us – it is a core part of our commitment to quality, towards our employees and our clients.
