28 to cable crane systems for the construction of the Deriner Dam in Turkey.

  • The Deriner Dam was constructed by means of three parallel cable crane systems of the company “Thyssenkrupp AG” in 2002. LCS took over the technology of cable crane systems for the construction of dams and distributes them exclusively worldwide.

    The cable crane systems used to build the Deriner Dam in Turkey were classic parallel systems with machine carriage and counter carriage. With a total height of the dam of 250 m, the cable cranes disposed of a lifting height of 280 m. Due to the large concrete volume of 3.5 Mio. m³ to be placed, three identical cable crane systems, each with a payload of 28 to, were installed to ensure that the dam was completed on time.
