Hydro power plant Limberg II

Construction of a hydro power plant in the Austrian Alps.

• LCS Cable Cranes installed a cable crane system for the construction of the hydro power plant in Kaprun. The system was operated 24 hours a day to transport construction material and manpower to the surge chamber “Oberkammer” at over 2,000 m sea level. Since the construction site was located above a water reservoir, the system was the only way to transport materials to the site.
