Tamazunchale Pipeline

Pipeline construction in steep and rocky terrain by means of a cable crane system.

• In the Mexican region of Hidalgo, a LCS cable crane system with a horizontal bend was installed for the construction of a gas pipeline in steep terrain. The rough terrain in which the system was assembled to transport construction machinery and, above all, construction material and pipelines had an inclination of 70° and was very rocky. In addition, difficult climatic conditions during the installation and operation of the cable crane system, which transported heavy loads over 750 m, were challenging.
